Jarett Coons
Jarett was born in Bishop Ca. and has been fishing, hunting, hiking and camping the Sierra for the vast majority of his life. Of all that, fly-fishing was always his passion. He graduated from the Clark Fork River Outfitters Guide School in 2009 and started Sierra Mountain Trout Guide Service the second he got home. In addition to guiding year round, Jarett is on the design team at Solitude Fly Company, board member for Crowley Fish Foundation, co-founder of the Bishop Kid’s Fish Camp, Trout in the Classroom volunteer, freelance flyfishing writer and eternal friend of the underdog. Because of his Paiute background, Jarett has an extensive knowledge of local Native history, culture and language. Jarett’s Knowledge of the Eastern Sierra is unmatched and he loves sharing it with others.

Christy Coons
There is a ton of behind the scenes work that goes into a fishing trip. Christy supervises the important stuff and makes sure things run smoothly. She keeps us well fed and fueled for long days on the water. She is an integral part of the system and we couldn’t operate the same without her.
